Sedation

We offer a variety of sedation options to help our patients feel relaxed and have an anxiety-free experience.

• Intravenous(IV) Sedation: We inject sedatives directly into the bloodstream to help you feel like you’ve slept through the procedure. It is used for severe anxiety or there is a need to accomplish a lot in one appointment.
• Oral Conscious Sedation: You take a prescribed pill before your appointment that puts you into a conscious yet extremely relaxed state. Patients do not often remember the procedure.
• Nitrous Oxide (aka Laughing Gas): We deliver this mild sedative in a gas form using a mask over your nose. While relaxed, you’ll remain responsive and alert.
